Following a merger with another company, I spearheaded the development of a new design system to reconcile the differing design approaches of both organizations. This was particularly challenging as Sciforma already had two previous design systems we were trying to merge, and the acquisition of One2Team added another layer of complexity to the process.
We created detailed documentation including color palettes, typography, and component specifications with precise measurements for margins, padding, and typography. This was especially important given Sciforma's legacy codebase dating back to the early 2000s, which required significant effort to enhance visually while maintaining functionality.

A major project I designed was a timesheet workspace that transformed the outdated excel-like interface into a modern, intuitive system. We implemented floating action bars, drag-and-drop functionality for task management, and an interactive timeline for easily switching between weeks and months. User feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with clients appreciating the more intuitive and visually appealing experience.

As a design engineer with both design sensibility and technical understanding, I bridged the gap between design and development teams. This dual perspective proved invaluable when adapting our desktop applications for mobile platforms, where we had to carefully consider different screen sizes and interaction models while maintaining core functionality.
Initially part of a two-person design team, I eventually became the sole designer responsible for maintaining design consistency across the product. In my final months, I mentored an incoming senior designer, providing comprehensive knowledge transfer about our design systems and project requirements. This experience directly informed my Master's thesis project, "Le Guide du Handoff", which aims to improve designer-developer communication.
